The ninth edition of the Piccolo Festival looks ahead in its artistic and tourism project by reaping the first important results in internationalizing its audience. Fully capitalizing on the important potential of the region, a crossroads

to the eastern borders of Europe, with its rich and varied heritage of villas and castles is the next challenge that awaits us. We are convinced that this is the offer to be enhanced, and with our program we intend once again to make the most of the stupendous residences that host us. Building an increasingly effective dialogue between Culture and Tourism must be a fundamental part of the future of our Region and the entire country. There seems to be no more suitable “medium” than to do it in music, particularly with that opera which, increasingly throughout the World, is recognized as

ambassador of the Italian spirit. A heartfelt thank you to all those who support us and a warm welcome to our audience to whom we want to propose a musical journey in which to be more protagonists than spectators, following a light that will give us many more summer nights in music in the mansions of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
