Zucco Castle, built with the permission of the Patriarch of Aquileia Bertoldo, was built at a lower level than Cucagna Castle as a sign of respect. Originally owned jointly by the Cucagna nobles, it later passed to a branch of the family that took its name.

The castle, larger than its predecessor, had a plan with double walls, moat, keep tower, fortified domus and a castle chapel, still visible today. In the 15th century, after being abandoned, it was burned down by the Venetians. It is currently being restored for the creation of the Archaeological Park of the Land of the Castles of Attimis, Faedis and Povoletto.
