“The Journey to Reims” invites you to travel on the historic FS trains!
The belle-èpoque station of the Trasalpina, on the square symbolizing the embrace of Nova Gorica and Gorizia for GO!2025, the wonder of a slow journey, among the landscapes of Friuli Venezia Giulia, on the Historical Trains to the European Capital of Culture, and finally Rossini's opera, a playful journey imagined in music that from France really traveled to Gorizia: that of Charles X of Bourbon and his family, buried in the monastery of Castagnevizza on this same border. The journey to Reims could only be reborn here, exactly two hundred years after its Parisian debut, on an unrepeatable summer evening that will soon become extraordinary memory.
On June 19 and 21, travel aboard the Historic Trains of the FS Italian Foundation and reach the striking Transalpina Square, on the border between Italy and Slovenia. A unique experience that will allow you to attend, with discounted fares, the show The Journey to Reims.
