Formentini Castle, located in the heart of Collio, has its roots in the Middle Ages as part of an imperial defense system. Built to protect the territory, it was purchased by the Formentini family in 1520 and restored by Count Vinciguerra Formentini. Today, the castle retains its imposing towers and walls, while the ground floor, once used as cellars, contains elegant event spaces.
